Florida Ski Council 2022 Spring Meeting

Registration

  • First 8 are free for full member clubs. Over free allocation, use "Member Clubs-Additional Spots with Cost" registration type.
  • Use this registration type once you have registered/utilized your free attendee allocation for your club.
  • Only for Florida Ski Council Past Presidents & current FSC Elected Officers/Executive Committee
  • Exhibitor fee is per company/location; limit of 2 attendees per paid fee. Additional attendees are allowed at a cost of $100 per person over 2 which will be billed to you in a separate invoice. Event meal sponsors are allowed a total of 4 attendees per paid registration fee at no additional cost.
  • Charity Representatives from Disabled American Veterans and Florida School for the Deaf & Blind. Please contact the FSC Secretary, Terese DeLuca (FSC.DeLuca@gmail.com) to make your hotel reservations for this event.
  • For Industry Partners who would like to include additional attendees that exceed the # of attendees included in their base registration.

2022 FSC Spring Meeting

June 3-5, 2022

Our 2022 Spring meeting and Industry Showcase is just around the corner! Due to the positive feedback received regarding last year's format change, we're keeping the casual social environment on Friday evening, with the Industry Partner Showcase on Saturday evening. To better facilitate the Saturday Showcase timing, a 9-hole golf event will be offered Saturday afternoon rather than a full 18 holes.

Please note that all registration for the meeting, hotel and Saturday golf event are now closed.

    Here's the high-level agenda:

    Friday 6/3

    • Participants arrive and take advantage of one of the restaurants on property or relax and enjoy the DJ in the La Margarita Lounge. If arriving early, be sure to get in a round of golf or enjoy the spa or pool.

    Saturday 6/4

    • Breakfast in the am for club and Council participants followed by the first half of our Spring meeting. Bid presentations for the FSC 2024 January and February trips will occur, along with review of the 2024 potential international destinations. An early meeting start (8-8:15 am) is anticipated due to the number of trip bids to be presented. 

    • Industry partners whose entire team is playing golf on Saturday afternoon will be able to set up their Showcase displays in the am while the Council meeting occurs. Remaining exhibitors will be able to set up displays after lunch.

    • Lunch provided for all participants followed by fun activities like golf, volleyball or lounging by the pool. See separate Saturday golf reservations link below. 

    • Industry Partner Showcase in the evening with food provided for all participants.

    • Adjourn around 9 pm to the La Margarita Lounge for DJ-provided music.  

    Sunday 6/5

    • Breakfast in the am for club, Council & sponsored charity participants.

    • Club and Council reps meet to conclude the business meeting, including voting for the 2024 January and February FSC trip destinations and tour operators and the International FAM destination to occur in 2023 for the potential 2024 international trip selection. 

    • The meeting on Sunday will end with FSC Officer elections for the 2022-2023 term. Four of our current FSC Officers will be running for new positions on the Executive Committee and two positions, Secretary and Treasurer, will have no current officer in contention.  All elected positions are open to any qualified candidate from any of the FSC member clubs in good standing.

    To book by phone please call 800-874-9053 and be sure to state when calling that you are with the Florida Ski Council. FSC room rate is $135 per night plus tax for a Deluxe room (single or double occupancy) and a $7 per night + tax resort fee. Special note: the normal $25 resort amenity fee will appear when you make your reservations online but will be adjusted to $7 by the reservations staff after booking. Please note that a one-night deposit will be required at the time of reservation. These special rates are only guaranteed through May 22nd. Higher rates may apply after that date. 


      FLORIDA SKI COUNCIL

      The Florida Ski Council is made up of 15 member ski clubs from all over the state. Members have reciprocal privileges which allow them to travel with any club on any trip.
